The Latest

These sunsets never cease to take my breath away.
When I first came to the island, I had a difficult time sitting still while watching the sunset. I would have this voice inside my head telling me I wasn’t worthy of witnessing such immaculate beauty. That I wasn’t worthy of seeing God’s great creations or feeling the closeness to Him I feel when I see such grace. How backward is that? To deny His never ending love? It goes against our very nature and why we were put on this planet. You were born to love and be loved, sweet child. Let go of those feelings of unworthiness because they aren’t yours and they do not serve you. Remaining in your own samsara is denying yourself your true purpose in life. Watch that sun until it goes down. Then watch the stars and the moon and the shooting stars and know you are worthy of every second of it right now, today, and forever.

Introverts don’t get lonely if they don’t socialize with a lot of people, but we do get lonely if we don’t have intimate interactions on a regular basis.
